Legal regulations are becoming ever stricter for the series approval of vehicles and the placing on the market of vehicle parts.
As a development service provider, we therefore already lay the foundations in the early concept phase, e.g.
styling
Crash safety
pedestrian protection regulations and
passenger ergonomics
of components, systems and complete vehicles in accordance with the relevant legal guidelines.
By simulating vehicle safety, our multidisciplinary CAE team uses various solvers to simulate different load cases in the different areas of passive safety. The focus here is on development in the areas of structural crash, pedestrian protection, low-speed crash and occupant protection.
We support and accompany manufacturers through to approval, for example
National level: o ABE § 22 StVZO operating licence for vehicle parts o ABE §21 / §19 StVZO full certificate/ operating licence for vehicles
International level:
o EU - individual approval according to Article 44 Regulation (EU) 2018/858
o EU - small series approval Article 41 in conjunction with Annex II, Part I Appendix 1 of Regulation (EU) 2018/858).
Compliance with:
o USA – FMVSS
o China – CCC
o Gulf States – GCC
and also handle these in cooperation with national and international technical services.
