There are divided opinions about the aesthetic appeal of a rear wing on a vehicle. However, in the best case scenario, it improves aerodynamic performance by increasing downforce when needed.

If the wing is adjustable in height, the vehicle setup can be adapted according to track layout, speed, and weather conditions.

In the development of performance parts, we usually go through the following process:

  • Design based on a 3D scan of the rear vehicle area

  • Strength testing using finite element analysis

  • Technical report to support the part approval

  • Design of the tooling model

  • Tooling and part production with affiliates

With the help of simulated strength tests, crash simulations, and technical reports, the downstreamed inspection by the Technical Authority can be processed faster and more successfully.
